Also - why does everything get large icons? ...can't people read any more?

Personally not digging it, I really like the look of FF3, simple functional and plain.

It's nice, but it looks so close to Opera it's scary.

It looks like they took chrome and applied their own firefox skin to it.

    Ask Dave? :D

    GlasserPojo - for transparency

Personal Menu - for rearranging and smaller icons

But Dave is the expert - he set this up for me.

two main addons needed: personal menu and something called glasser or similar (it was glasser originally).

i like the new design, except for the menu button on topleft. i'd prefer it to be placed like in office 2010 (and be a backstage full-window menu, too). then it would be perfect.

oh, and that button on the right, take it to the left, please. i like my buttons close to each other.

It's missing the bookmarks bar, which is essential to me.

it's just hidden :) like on my system. i prefer a bookmark menu (+the locationbar now has all assorted bookmarks in anyways).

but it sure can be enabled again :)

At first glance, I didn't think so, but now that I look at the details, it looks a whole lot like Opera 10. The style of the toolbars and buttons (esp the new tab button) seems really close.

But that's good, since I like Opera 10's look. I especially love how they not only collapsed the menu, but also integrated the Windows titlebar.

I think it's ugly... what happened to the Windows 7 look? I saw some screenshots some months ago, released by Mozilla

I personally like the design. The current UI is, IMO, very lame. Chrome has a great UI, in that there isn't much of one. I like that. I just want to browse the internet with my browser, nothing more.

Well, I have a portable version of Iron just for Google Wave... it works in Fullscreen mode, but else its just ugly...

And all those rounded boxes... either use round buttons or use boxes...

Along as they change some internal structures and fix the start up time. I can care less about how it looks.

I think that design isn't bad, I mean it incorporates Chrome's title bar tabs to save space and also allows for a lot of Aero.

    This is mine.

Aesthetics is one measure to take, but what about usability? Is the UI easier to use? That's what really matters.

But yeah, it is a major departure from the typical Firefox look.
