3.6 in January? First they said September, then November/December, and now January...

That's typical for any "company deadline"... only people who have to adhere to them are pupils and students it seems.

(Just look into Airbus in Germany - missed their aim by over 10 years cost billions more and the government doesn't cancel... why?? - anyway)

Any news on the startup time? - my 3.5.5 is slow even on an SSD... and slower than Dave's for some reason...

Startup time - yes - I don't want to wait for a little web-browser that is a small programme on a SSD - and you can forget it on a HDD...

But if your looking for speedy browser why not try google one. I like firefox, with its features and plugins, and maybe it takes that long as it needs all the memory usage, while it loads etc....

Don't want Google, need an advertisement blocker if I am to use the internet.

I've got Iron portable for Google wave.

I really like IE8 - but I don't have an Advertisement blocker for it... so I'm sort stuck with Firefox.

(KIS is too slow on a SSD...)

The browser is good at the version it is now, the wait will be worth it too.

Not holding my breath on this one and considering Mozilla's track record, it won't come out in 2010.

Boeing is far worse. The 787 DreamLiner just had its first test flight

I wonder when Opera will be releasing its next major update (10.5)? Probably after Firefox 3.6, hopefully some time in Q1-Q2 2010.
