mozilla.com still offers FF4.01, so I guess that filehippo is offering a beta, nightly or similar pre-release version.
Personally, I would not consider filehippo as reliable software source.
From the official website, you can even get Mozilla 6.0
Mozilla Firefox ? Download the Aurora or Beta Build or Download & Test the Future of Firefox

And btw, FileHippo IS a reliable software source, FYI -
If you really want the latest stuff from mozilla.org, then check their FTP server regularily: ftp.mozilla.org

I am running v5 right now and I haven't noticed any difference.
-
Well, it reduced my average memory consumption by 2/3, which was starting to bother me since 4. Back almost back to my old 3.5 levels.
-
i think there is also a change transition effect on opening and closing tabs in v5 compared to v4... at least that is what I'm noticing right now.

still a lot slower load times than Chrome, Chrome is literally instantaneous for me, Firefox has to load a little, especially on certain sites where it actually lags, Chrome is smooth and quick
-
Now when people ask if it's as good as Chrome the Mozilla Group can say they're closer than ever.

For those interested, check here for some issues *I* saw with Firefox 5 and ChromeEdit Plus customizations: http://forum.notebookreview.com/windows-os-software/588551-strange-problem-gmail-firefox-5-a.html
Other than that, FF5 is being great and nice for me..
