This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Firefox 6.0 (x64)?

    I've looked everywhere and cant find a 64bit version of firefox 6.0. The one I have downloaded says it is for x86. Is there one available yet?

    I don't think you'll ever find one. Most browsers are x86.

    IE9 has a x64 version. It's faster in some regards, but I think it's got such little support that it's not worth using.

    64-bit Firefox Nightly in general is good - but I don't recommend it for everyday usage - simply because of the lack of other components not yet quite working (Flash comes to mind) smoothly
