The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

Thanks for the link. I look forward to seeing how Namoroka runs.

There will always be people fighting the IE vs FF fight. Personally I am a Firefox user but like what Microsoft did with IE8.

Man...does every site use Active X? And is the use of Flash really this widespread? Every site I go to is prompting me to activate Flash!

There's a tool called admuncher which blocks ads for FF, IE, Opera...etc. It's probably the best adblocker, even better than the FF addon that some FF users are using.

If it wasn't for the forum rule, I would've told you how to "*****" the admuncher program. No reinstalling necessary too, for those who's wondering.

No worries! Let's just stick to the ethics of the forum.
