Hey everyone. Where could I find the saved settings for my firefox about:config? I've changed some stuff in there and I don't to change it again if I have to format or reinstall firefox? There should be a place that they keep the files that are being changed.

They should be in your profile folder(its has your setting and bookmarks.
I usually back up my profile once in awhile but most of the time i just back up my bookmarks so i can use it on another computer or portable firefox

The actual file you want to back up is called prefs.js. That, and your bookmarks.html if you want a full firefox backup.

I use FEBE to do a complete backup (including plugins). It makes restoring after a reformat a breeze!

MozBackup works well and is free.

It backs up bookmarks, extensions, cookies, cache, history, etc.
