This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Firefox Using Lots of CPU

    My FF recently has been acting up, and every time I view a flash movie (youtube, armorgames, etc.) the CPU usage just shoots up to 50-60%. Regular youtube videos are still watchable, but HD ones are not. They lag like crazy, and flash games lag too. My FF never did this before, so I don't get why it would start now, I don't think I installed anything new... Anyone know the solution to this?
