The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Firefox addon to build website whitelist?

    I'd like to experiment with building a web filter white list. Is there an add-on that when a link is clicked the add-on will throw up a window showing the url, and any subsequent urls linked in the page, that the user could then select to white list. Anything white listed wouldn't initiate a prompt in the future. Anything not white listed is blacklisted, also not initiating a prompt in the future.

    Anything like it, similar, somewhat close?

    I think BlockSite plugin has whitelist and blacklist feature to it. I don't know how advanced the feature is though.
