    Hi,

I have the most current versions of FF and NOD32, but these two programs doesn't seem to remember anything. For example, very time I launch a program that connects to the internet NOD32 asks me if I want to create a rule allowing this program to freely connect. In the past, I only had to click allow once to create the rule, but now I have to do it every time.

Similarly, FF usually keeps me logged into websites but now it every time I exit the program, I have to manually log in again, even though I tell it to remember me and have private settings on in the options menu.

Any idea what might be causing this, I never had this problem before, and it seems to have just sprung up on me.

    Thank you for your help.

Disable NOD32 and see how FF behaves. If it fixes, then an update from NOD32 must have done you in. If not, review your configuration as a whole and see if you have set the comp/desktop to remember last change.

    cheers ...

I got this same problem of firefox not remembering my cookies. =\

I use avast. This problem seemed to arise after using ccleaner. Do you use this?

I do indeed use CC. Make sure under applications in CC you have cookies unchecked for Firefox that should solve your problem with loosing your cookies after using CC. Me on the other hand, I loose CC from shutting down FF (I have keep until cookies expire in FF's settings).

Thanks for the replies guys, and please let me know if you figure out a fix.

    Edit

It seems like the FF cookies problem and the NOD32 problem are unrelated. As long as I choose save and quit while exiting FF, my cookies are stored. But if simply quit, all my cookies are lost.
