The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Firefox bookmarks

    Periodically, my firefox bookmarks just disappear coupled with an inability to use the back button. When I restart the bookmarks come back and the back button becomes enabled again. Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

    Nope, never heard of that. Are you using the latest version? It sounds like a bug you may want to submit to Mozilla.

    I'm almost positive I am using the newest version. I'm also pretty sure it also happened to me with older versions. I've just been tolerating it for a while because it's not an awful problem, just really frustrating and annoying.
