This only happens in chat programs. I saw a registry fix on here before, but I can't seem to find it. Please help.

Going into my computer, tools, options, file types, and changing html and htm links to open with Firefox should fix this.

Alternatively, you could make two text documents on your desktop, relabel them as .html and .htm files instead of .txt files, right click both files, hit properties, and tell them to always open with Firefox.

If you're talking about msn/windows live messenger, then I believe you're out of luck; it automatically uses IE no matter which browser is set to default.
