The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

With Firefox, the notebookreview forums are completely screwed up. When I try to log in and I get the message saying that I've logged in, it logs me out when I go back to browsing the forums. Also, when I try to do a search or go to notebookreview.com, I get a bad request.

I'm posting this from IE which is butt ugly and annoying to use. I know it's not any of the addons in FF because I ran it in safe mode and the same problem occured. Am I the only one getting this strange problem?

I use FF 3.5.2 and I've had no issues with this or any other forum. I don't think your problem is FF-related.

I have no problems whatsoever with Firefox. I'm sure this problem is related to something else.
I don't know how to solve this problem though.

Check the ad blocker. It may have a problem with the following:

    ClearBlue Technologies
    Web Side Story, Inc
    Double Click, Inc

Unblock them temporarily see if that helps.

In my Adblock filters, I only have stuff from Double Clic, Inc. I disabled those for a little bit but nothing seemed to have changed.

I could tell you how my firefox options are set up if that helps. Mine works fine on this forum. It looks exactly like using IE, I would not know the difference. I rarely use firefox because many websites don't support it still. Just keep it for backup or something, but anyways I can walk you thru its settings.

Post that are off-topic/troll in nature will be removed. If you have any constructive comments(on firefox settings etc related to firefox/internet settings like Twiz has done), feel free to post them.
