When I first got my laptop in Jan. I installed firefox and noticed it did not scroll very smoothly. I upgraded my hdd and decided to just do a clean install of Vista and I noticed a major improvement in the scrolling...it was smooth. I changed the theme in FF3 and it's back to being "jumpy" again. I'm using the same theme I use on my desktop with XP and it works fine. :(

    Any thoughts?

I think that's because of the graphics driver, it happens to me when you don't have a graphics driver installed

I've got the latest XtremeG drivers from tweaksrus.com. But it also happened when I first got the laptop and had the defualt Dell drivers installed.

    In Firefox, go to:

Tools, Options, Advanced, General Tab, and check 'Smooth Scrolling'

I tried smooth scrolling and it's not much better. It's so odd...for a short while after reinstalling Vista it worked perfectly. Oh well, I'll just have to deal with it. Thanks for the help guys.
