I'm trying to print ebay package slips from firefox and seem to have a problem. When firefox opens the packing slip invoice, the margins seems ok. When I click print preview, the margins gets slightly smaller and my invoice lines and sentences splits and becomes 2 lines instead of one.

I've tried playing around with page setup and getting rid of margins as well as adjusting the scale of the page but it doesn't make any difference to the margins in print preview and when I actually print the page out.

I've also made sure the right size of paper is selected.

Any advice? This doesn't happen on my desktop or other laptop.

Are these all using the same printer? Try updating the printer drivers. Windows handles printing quite oddly, and it depends on a lot of interrelated systems.

Yes. same printer. Drivers standard from vista/XP. The only difference is that the margin error is on vista whereas the XP machines prints correctly.

i have the same issue within vista when printing (sometimes) via firefox. IE has no issue however - typical proprietary. My work around for "firefox vista print" involves piping the print out to a pdf printer/file and then print it from there

    cheers ...
