Is there an extension that allows Firefox to display its tabs the way Google Chrome does (in the title bar instead of a tab bar)? I want this as it saves a line of space.

Mine looks exactly like yours. I have AeroFX that does the IE glass effects.

    I found a Chromify add-on but that doesn't work 100%.

Once it has as many add-ons as Firefox then I'll consider switching.

once it allows to adblock it's own google ads, it won't take over the world, the world, as it exists, will implode.

Chrome is not designed to be slow like Firefox so it won't have 20 million add-ons.

I will choose Chrome over Firefox any day.

Yeah I don't see the slowness in Firefox. Chrome is nice but the lack of customization isn't my thing ...

I'm more glad with not seeing ads since 2006.

Never heard of that test ...

Anyways do those tests even matter? Browsers are for you to view Web pages the way the designer intended with whatever features you want in it, not to pass a test. Even if I got 0 on that test (I assume 0 is the lowest), as long as it renders pages I go to properly and has all the features I need (ad blocking, GMail checking, total interface customization, tab previews, Google customization, etc.), then I am happy and would pick that browser over its competitors.

Believe it or not, it is a very important test. Lets be honest. You would not like a browser to start from cold in 1 minute and load pages slower than another one.

    My score...with Opera ;).

You make a valid point about the cold start and page loads, however I have Chrome and Firefox installed on my other laptop and to be honest, I notice no difference in page loads. Cold start, Chrome wins, but IMO both do pretty well and I guess I am willing to sacrifice a bit of cold start time for features.

On another note, I don't really like how Google bundles Google Updater and has it run in the background whenever you install a Google product. Not my thing when companies run extra processes ...

I wonder how you managed that. I just downloaded and installed Opera and got a 85. Better than Firefox but not enough to make it my default browser.

the acid tes tdoesn't matter for the performance of a browser. only for the chance if some page doesn't work. then again, most pages don't work on an acid 100 browser (msdn f.e.). so i'm again happy with firefox that allows me to run with ietabs for compatibility on pages that don't care about standards...
