    Dear all,

Since yesterday, the firefox taskbar / startmenu icon is missing.. I've tried rebuilding the cache as well as re-installing firefox (reinstalling temporarily brought the icon back, but it then disappeared).

I've checked in google, but none of the 'solutions' worked!

    Any ideas, Please?

    Thanks in advance, Cheers...

PS., By the way, I'm running the latest firefox release (4.0.1).

Edit: Added a pic, to show the start menu FF entry without the icon!!!

Hm. Use firefox's sync and uninstall/reisntall?

When you rebuilt the icon cache, did you stop the explorer.exe process?

    Yes, I did..

By the way, now it 'looks' to be fixed - after _multiple_ uninstall / reinstall of firefox and trying to rebuild the icon cache _at least_ 3 times....

At the moment, the icon is back in the taskbar and the start menu.

    Cheers
