I have only one website that I'd like to block flash from.

I've installed the plugin 'flashblock', but it seems to be an all or nothing deal. Ok I can make exceptions but then I need to make exceptions for every website i visit.

    Any suggestions?

I've got it running, it's good I agree but it does not give me the option of blocking this one afaik.

Maybe I should have said upfront: I am running Flashblock, Noscript and Adblockplus.

None of them did the job. Well Flashblock did but then it blocks all flash.

By the way, it seems the website has removed the annoying ad.

A similar ad is back now: http://www.vi.nl/home.html

The one on the right, below the green frame.

If anyone knows a way to block this ad without blocking all fals, I would love to hear it.

I don't see it, but maybe that's because I have used ABP to block everything that has "*banner*" in the URL. It's amazing how much junk that cuts out.

I don't think that's it. They take the ad away sometimes. now it's gone again.

I'll use your recommendation anyway. I just add "*banner*" as a filter?

Thanks I'll try it. Edit: best solution sofar to do this job. Not perfect but pretty good.

The easiest way is to open preferences, click on "Add Filter...", and enter "*banner*" (without the quotes) and press enter. This will remove all images, flash, and anything else that has the word banner anywhere in the path or filename.

    Thanks did that.

Maybe it's working because when I open the page in MSIE I see the ad, in Firefox I do not see it any more.

I had a chance to test this on a different machine and I can now confirm that adding *banner* to Adblock plus effectively blocks this ad.

    Props to Sac9700.
