I can't believe the folks who created Firefox disable by default the Cut, Copy, and Paste commands. I've been ONLY using them over 20 years and use them every day to work on my website.

Anyway, I followed their instructions to enable the commands. Does not work!!!

    Here are their instructions:

    http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/securityprefs.html

Here is how they say to correct the problem in Vista:

C:\users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ on Windows Vista, and the rest should be obvious.

Obvious??? Evidently, not to me. As I said, it doesn't work for me.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've never had any issue with using cut and past in Firefox.

Are you using version 2 with Vista???

Maybe I'll try to find an previous version, though I'd still like to hear if someone knows of a solution.

Huh? I've always been able to copy/paste just fine.

What exactly is it you can't copy/paste?

It doesn't work in the text editor in the Content Management System I use. The script used in Coranto is a third party javascript rich text editor, called TinyMCE.

Seems like they support Firefox... do you have any extensions installed for Firefox that may be tweaking with how your Javascript runs? Make sure Adblock isn't blocking any URL's on CMS's editing page, etc.
