This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I love FF and really have zero interest in the Google browser. One thing I do hope they address is performance. The browser seems to bog down at times if I go to videogame sites that use lots of flash based ads. Disabling javasript does the trick.

    Opera on the other hand has no issues handling those types of sites.

    i saw some pics of the Google browser and it's features and I wasn't impressed. I don't know why everyone is so lathered up over that browser.

    Regardless of which browser one is using, there are always sites that would cause issues to one, and not to others. It is always good to produce a link to a site (or sites) so that others can verify and check it (them) for the benefits of all browser users.
