This is a great program, it stops programs from asking for confirmation every time they run without disabling UAC.
Try it. -

thanks for the link, just what i needed for a support case
while normally, the sw vendor of the specific app should fix the problem, this at least helps to fix the problem for the user as long as the software is not patched. -
What do ya know! I just had a similar issue. Thanks for the links. I'll be sure to try it! +1!

i'm always interested in what apps give such problems. care to share with us?
one i've heard is rmclock. -

Any program that is not digitally signed , UAC will ask for confirmation before it`s run, this will stop it asking and the program will just run.
Rmclock if the undervolting cpu`s totally different

nope, not all programs ask for confirmation. only at installation time. none of the others ask for confirmation if they don't access anything.

I have had quite a few programs that every time i start them, UAC asks if i really want to run it, now they dont , I am very happy.

Often times the confirmation at run time is because of "streams". It is something added to some applications installed via the internet. There is a bunch of info and an app for viewing and removing these "streams" on Sysinternals website: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897440.aspx here: http://darrenmyher.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!1ABA4CA6583AB317!152.entry and here: http://community.tigranetworks.co.u...ow-windows-tracks-a-file-s-security-zone.aspx

Yup, HWmonitor, DPC latency checker and GPU-z all ask for confirmation every time. These are the only apps that aren't really installed but you just run the .exe itself everytime which is all there is to the app.

obviously all of those want to access hw for extended information. that needs uac, and it makes sense.
tinderbox: even programs i code myself don't need uac => the signedness doesn't matter.
but some programs need the fix i have in my signature. actually, most should still work without uac due to the virtualisation vista does on such programs. -
CoreTemp is another program that I use that prompts at every startup. I'll be testing this out. Thanks a lot for the link! +rep
EDIT: Works great. As a side note, since it's not covered on the NUAC website - to remove the tool, navigate to Program Files > NortonUAC and then run the setup .exe and press "Uninstall". -
oooooohhhh nice find thank u +1

Thanks - great find - Like the security features of UAC - just was tired of the prompting - This works great!

If you don't want extra software you can use Task Scheduler to avert it, and make shortcuts, or make it start it up (used to use it for SpeedFan all the time to get the HDD temps). Not that difficult after the first few times.
