Jayayess1190 Waiting on Intel Cannonlake
-
Woohoo 64 bit on the way!
-
Thanks for the head's up! I just looked at the site earlier and it wasn't up.
Edit: A bit of testing and it looks like the hardware acceleration that was buggy in the previous build is no longer! w00t! -
No love for the 4500MHD (8.15.10.2057) , I get 5fps on 720P/1080P Youtube's Dark Knight Trailer. Get perfect frames on 720P and watchable 1080P with Beta 1 though.

-
Works fine on my Vaio TT with the su9300 and intel 4500hd.
-
Well with my driver level of course =P, not gonna go installing different intel drivers to match up with a flash 10.1 RC
-
-
why the fear of upgrading your gma drivers?
-
The release notes say minimum 8.15.10.2021, I have version 8.15.10.2057. So my math shows it should work, so if it doesn't I'm gonna chalk it up to Adobe's fault and go back to a version that works.

The activeX version causes an error on reboot for my system. Complains about registered server having to close, which seems related to DEP. Made a post this morning after it came out, yet the devs have ignored it thus far.

I just installed the ati catalyst 10.5 beta and it came with an INTEL driver for my 4500 MHD 8.730.0.0 - 16/03/2010
-
did you properly/manually remove the old flash 10.1 beta before installing the RC? Adobe provides deinstallers for this purpose.
a) deinstall all versions of flash, reboot
b) update your graphics drivers to latest/greatest, reboot
c) install latest/greatest flash beta/rc, both ax and plugin, reboot -
a)hmm I def should do this, didn't bother to do any rebooting =P. Just uninstalled from control panel
b)not going to do this because...well not a fan of updating drivers that work already and like I said, my drivers are supposed to be supported.
c)would never install the ax plugin too...need a way to view websites that flash beta messes up (ie my tmobile).
Otherwise I'll give your suggestions a try if I have problems with the official 10.1 release -
why not install the activex flach player again?
and if your drivers DON'T work (by your own admission), then update your drivers.
You've put artificial barriers in place that prevent your properly installing things.
enough, enjoy (or not) a system that doesn't work as it could/should. but don't blame it on anything other than your being unwilling to make it work........ -
I'm not installing the Active X because IE is not my main browser. So I'm only concerned with the plugin for Firefox. I keep Flash 10 Active X so that I can open up any webpage that errors on Flash 10.1.
And like I said, my drivers don't work but they should. They work with beta 1. Didn't work with beta 3, now don't work with RC.
Anyway you're right, I probably should be a bit more forgiving considering I didn't do everything possible to get it working. Just lazy I guess xD. -
This didn't work with the wife's desktop (Radeon 4650, Windows 7 x64). It plays the video without lag, but there's a lot of green/purple pixelation and artifacting going on. It's not a hardware issue, as I can fire up a game and it'll work just fine.

If anybody need beta 1 , a few people are asking for it , see link below.

I will try that and see if it fixes the artifacting
With the beta, 1080p works flawlessly, but 720p still glitches badly. This is with CCC 10.3. -
remember, that beta and rc software are for TESTING. If you're not up to the possible failures and challenges of running TEST software, trying updated drivers, reporting back to the publisher on results (bug reports), then you probably shouldn't be trying the beta/rc versions at all.
