I couldn't find anything in search.

Does anyone know how to install Adobe Flash Player on Vista Home Premium?

    Open up Internet Explorer

    Go here: http://www.adobe.com/

Find the Get Flash Player button and click on it.

    Do the usual install routine.

It is important that you use IE7, when you install Flash for IE7 you install Flash for your whole system.

perhaps it had a faulty install once, see if you can delete/uninstall it then try reinstalling.

Sometimes I find on Vista HP 64bit that UAC pops up in the background so you just see a new tab appear on your taskbar but not the blackout screen with the alert popup, in which case click on the tab in the task bar and it will then behave as normal. This can foul up program installations and I've had that issue a couple of times now.

Does the install actually run and complete but then Flash doesn't work on websites or does the install not actually run at all?

You could try checking out the "similar posts" section at the bottom of this page too to see if they help..

Just another thought and I may be stating the obvious but is it definitely Flash Player you need and not Shockwave Player?

    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?

If it's a website which isn't working properly it could be using Shockwave and not Flash.
