    Font Resized After Windows Update

    I was just on my laptop and all of a sudden, there was an update my whole computer restarted. After I turned it back on, I thought I was drunk or something because all the icons and fonts looked all distorted and when I go on the browsers and whatnot, all the fonts looked funny and some were really bold and it was really hurting my eyes a lot. Also it seems as if the screen got a lot brighter. Has this happened to anyone after a windows update? Is there a way to revert back to the way it was without having to restore because I didn't backup =/ well thanks a lot!

    Are you on XP or Vista? Also please state the SP if you are having any!

    It never happened to be with any windows update... neither have I seen anyone reporting such issue recently (I may have missed if there was one).. anyways, you could try fixing the font' back.. or try uninstalling the updates and see if it gets back to normal..

    I would also suggest doing a complete AV scan...

    oh yea im running on vista and it was like really sudden after a restart. im not sure what the fonts were previously though but thanks. also i believe it is running on sp1
