    I get 3.5 on both desktop and the 3d graphics tests if you mean the vista experience index.

    The Vista WEI program is useless. It is heavily dependent on drivers and installed programs, and I've seen two identically configured laptops have two DIFFERENT scores (so yeah, accurate for sure!). Other times I've seen systems that are clearly less powerful yet score higher, thus confusing customers.

    Anyway, the X3100 will handle all non-3d tasks with ease...and probably some of the 3d tasks as well (note: some). Anything specific you are looking for?

    As much as I despise 3dmark and other benchmarking programs, I think Greg is right about the vista WEI. I might suggest comparing some 3dmark scores instead, might be a little more accurate. *gasp* You heard it here, I suggested using 3dmark. *gasp*

    Well, for non-gaming applications...personal preference and review(s) are better than any benchmark. But for gaming, with the X3100 it is almost better to just TRUTHFULLY report X3100 performance (this is where I predict we'll get about 10 posts of Intel-X3100-fanboy posts now).

    What driver do you have?

    I got only 2.0 in aero and 2.6 in gaming with my X3100!
    a use the newest drivers from intel.

    I really want to know why my Index score on graphics is 3.1 for aero and 3.2 for gaming(3D)
    Since im using the same card as you are i really want to know why i dont get as high score as you?

    Using Hp 6510b
    C2D t8100 @2.10ghz
    2 GB ram
    ect.

    Edit: Im using the latest drivers from intel (1554)
