For those who are having problems with Windows 7 you need to take a deep breath here. If you were running Vista know this, Windows 7 will run and it will run better.

It takes time to download and to install the correct drivers and here are some real life tips from a Beta tester (Me) I beta tested Windows 7 since April 2009 putting it on a Core solo, Core Duo 32 bit and 64 bit, Core 2 Duo.

4 different laptops, one did not have any Windows 7 drivers, one had a couple and one had many.

I intstalled Vista drivers even when it said it was not for this OS how?
Easy, right click on driver set and look at compatibility and choose Vista sp1 or 2 and choose run as administrator. Then install

Windows 7 takes 20 to 30 minutes and no more then 40 minutes to install, if it takes longer or you get a failure 80 to 90% chance you have a hardware failure of some kind, Windows 7 will not install on a Computer with faulty Hardware. XP will.

You should flash your bios to the latest before install

But since I tested the daylights out of this OS and found it to be so much better then Vista ( I beta tested Vista and found it to be so unstable that I gave up and went to XP then used Vista after sp1 since I got a new computer and that was a nightmare)

Just understand how to do a proper install and do not be so quick to cry and moan its terrible, that is not the truth ( Unless your an Apple fan they will never like it! LOL) ;)
