I just wanted to post this for those who say NTFS does not make lots of fragmented files. I defraged like a week ago and had like 150k fragmented files and this time i got 100k so i figured i would take a screenshot this time and just through that out there that NTFS has tons of fragmentations and needs to be defraged at least once a month depending on your usage.

but, well, fragments don't depend per se on the file system, but on the apps that write to the files. most of the disk is still blue. and most likely you wouldn't notice a performance difference from that bits that are red.
how about the list of files that got the fragments? those are new/changed files (files don't just fragment out of nothing), so what have you done? downloaded stuff? it's not the system who created those fragments. it's YOU that did. so which files are the fragmented ones? -
I got to say that I started using Smart Defrag a few months ago and it's fantastic and free.
It optimizes files and places frequently used further out on the disk. -
