Cryptainer is free and uses a relatively strong Blowfish algorithm.

    Check out True Crypt.

I allows you to create encrypted volumes on your hard drive. Once you enter your password, the encrypted volume appears just like any other Windows volume.

You can simply drag files or folders to the encrypted volume, then dismount the volume. Your data will be protected by your choice of encryption methonds (AES-256, Blowfish (448-bit key), CAST5, Serpent, Triple DES, and Twofish).

Even allows you to create an encrypted volume on a removable flash drive!

    Works great, and it's free.

I would suggest you to make a backup of the data because it's not that simple of use but I'm starting to understand

i gotta question about true crypt, i can put the hidden files on my hard drive no problemo but on my flash drive i have to format it, and then i can put files in it. i can do that, but when i wanna put regular files on my flash drive it says i gotta format it.....
does that mean only encrypted files can be on it?
