Does anyone know of some good (and free) performance testing tools for the processor, graphics card, etc... My system seems slower than it should be (even though it's only a couple months old and I did a complete reformatting when I got it new). I'd like to test my system and check it against the performance of similar systems. Thanks in advance.

Use SuperPi to test for processor speed.

Use 3DMark05 and 3DMark06 for testing the graphics card.

PCMark is also a good testing software.

Prime95 is a good torture test, memcheck86 works on RAM and 3dMark is a great GPU tester. SuperPi and PCMark might also be of use for benchmarking along with 3dmark.

    All are available on google.

Try the System Requirements Lab @ http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srl

3DMark05 is pretty much the standard for Graphics Cards.
HDTune is a good benchmark for hard drives.

I am sure there are more but those two should get you started.
