This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Are there any good speech recognition programs that are free?

    I hear dragon naturally speaking is good but I don't want to shell out the $$$ if I don't have to.

    it depend what you wanna do with it windows integrated one is desent for navigating the menus

    The one built into Windows Vista and Windows 7 is pretty good... I doubt there's anything better available for free.
