Does anyone know any good free bandwidth monitoring software for vista? Also, is there a monthly bandwidth cap that comcast internet users are limit to? Is it the same for everyone? Has anyone here went over the monthly allowance?

If you have a compatible router, try tomato and ddwrt.

Bitmeter if your just using one computer. I used to use it all the time to estimate my video uploads until Youtube got a timer now.

I believe Comcast has a 250 GB per month download limit.

Network magic program should do the trick. Install it on all of your computers.

I had used "Net tools" that has multiple free network tools. I also used CFross-speed that have bandwidth monitor, bandwidth logging, bandwidth priority management but not free (may have trial).
