I am looking for the best free hard drives disk defrager. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Diskkeeper Pro? It's free, but I don't know if it's "the best." I use it, and it works fine.
-
Thanks r1ckchard, I will look into that one.
Has anyone heard of O&O defrager? What is your opinion on that one?

Can you tell us.....?

I think it is the trialversion. I was kinda confused when I went to thier site but that's what I think it is.
Tim -
Diskeeper Lite is free, Diskeeper Pro is only Trial, for 30 days.
-
I use PerfectDisk 7.0. It's a 30dy trial version though.

Disk keeper has given me trouble in the past which lead me to switch to
O&O and I havent looked back. -
My bad, Diskkeeper Lite. I was thinking of Driver Cleaner Pro being free when I said Diskkeeper Pro.
-
Another vote for O&O here. I've used both diskkeeper lite and pro, windows defrag and just found the O&O to be the smoother of the bunch. As far as smoother, I mean user interface, speed and options.

I have tried these two and they are free

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Hard-Disk-Utils/Power-Defragmenter.shtml. This one also requires this download http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Contig.html to correctly use the GUI feature. Be sure to unzip the file in the Power Defrager folder.
Hope this helps.
