I'm about to transfer about 200GB of data from a hard drive in my computer to my new NAS unit. I don't really want to use copy and paste because it's not the most reliable method. Does anyone know of a free piece of software I could use that instead of ending the whole show when it comes across a file it doesn't want to transfer or an empty folder, will just allow me to skip it?

    Thanks

    Cameron

Yes teracopy is pretty good.. I have used it and found it to be a nice tool.

*And may be, you could check out the free version of SyncBackSE.. its pretty nice too and there are options (when you select advanced) for excluding files and such... You could try that too.. and Syncback I use regularly, though I haven't explored much the options to exclude and stuff... you might wanna check it / read about it may be.. but its a good one. been working very well for me.*
