This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Click the pictures you want want to stich together in the gallery, right click -> stich or something. I forgot the exact command, but it's something like that.

    There is Microsoft ICE too... (mentioned in the free software thread) or if you own a Canon Camerayou get Photo stitch.

    If you want to show them online - Photostitch is an idea - but it's only online based.

    Then on the costly sie - if yo have them - Photoshop - and I have to say that results are great, better than for example Photo Stich - MS ICE is quite good too, I'd say nearly as good as Photoshop.

    As far as I am aware you actually get what you pay for in this area at the moment - i.e. payed for is better than free.

    Windows live photo gallery is free and making a panoramic is super easy in it.

    Yep, i'll third Windows Live Photo Gallery,

    As for the reasoning behind two separate versions, after Microsoft shipped Vista, they figured that by making things like Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, and Mail Windows Live apps, they could make changes and add new features faster instead of having to wait for a Windows Release.
