Help me kill realplayer. The "uninstall realplayer" doesn't appear on my menu, and realplayer doesn't appear in windows add/remove programs or in Revo. But Real player still exists, and tries to play my audio files, regardless of what I do. Would prefer program with mushroom cloud graphic for this POS PITA. Serenity now.

Try using Revo Uninstaller - link's in my signature. It's usually pretty good at cleaning out programs, even those that incorrectly uninstalled.

Give CCleaner a try and use the uninstall feature. Hopefully should work. Just on a side note, if you're looking for a program to play Real Media, take a look at KM Player. Excellent alternative.

. Manually deleting all folders related to Real Player

. Delete all startup processes relating to Real player.

    . Restart.

. Download cCleaner (my preference, or whatever) and run registry cleaner

. Use cCleaner to review the startup processes and clean up.

    cheers ...
