    Free software to create MP3 CD's?

    wanted to make an MP3 cd playable on home theatre system for Mom..its her birthday.


    is there a software to burn the CD?

    or should i just drag n drop files and burn?

    because i am not sure if its a data file it ll play on the DVD player/home theatre

    If the home theatre system can play mp3 files you can use drag & drop.
    Otherwise use Windows Media Player to burn the files as an audio cd.

    I use nero it works great for that kind of stuff, nero express is easy to use. Its not free but it has a free trial.

    It depends on what kind of mp3 cd you wish to make. If it's just an album inmp3 format windows media player would be fine. But if you wish to make an mp3 cd that contains aroun 10-12 albums you would need a different burner as windows would only do this i as a data cd which isn't compatible on all hi-fi's etc...

    It's free, just Google it. Actually, the word Google is a download link for the software. It works great, and will save you hella cd's. I've put 6 albums onto one by burning mp3 cd's with it.
