The list got way long so i started a new thread (hopefully its ok with the the moderator) to continue the discussion....it seemed a little off topic as the other thread had a bunch of talking about itunes and how slow it was...so heres a new thread:

    My favorite programs for superficiality:

VITAL DESKTOP: (not vital desktop video which seems it might have ripped of vital desktop) it allows using a screensaver as the background for the desktop....NOTE: vital desktop is a little strange with windows xp, if u use it with xp, set your background (standard desktop background not the vital desktop tab) in display properties to none. When u turn off vital your desktop background will go to a black screen (or watever default color u choose) otherwise it will mess up and the icons disappear.
The more graphically involved screensavers require a decent graphics card.

    Screensavers from uselesscreations.com
I like to use vital desktop with any of the really cool sreensavers from www.uselesscreations.com[url] ........d ANIMATION: ANIM8OR: [url]www.anim8or.com like this one best do to its level of helpfulness from other users.

    Game making software:

GAME MAKER: www.gamemaker.nl 2d game making software...easy to use, can also make isometric games for advanced users

I put these programs up cuz everyone was basically talking only about system mateince programs and video/music players. i put up cool looking and creative software.
