Fresh Window Installation?

Hello,
Well few months ago i used some display driver uninstaller in safe mode which kind of messed up and my GPU disappeared, later i saw that several of other drivers in device manager were showing yellow icons, the program probably messed up with other drivers,
however to be able to detect my GPU i had to recover windows to an old backup which messed up alot of other things such as my chipset drivers got messed up, and after several tries i realized that you can't really install chipset drivers.

Everything is working fine but after all this my HDD is giving abnormal behaviour, when i install a game or move multiple small files, usage continuously stays at 100% although the transfer rate is only 5 MBps, the system process is taking half the transfer rate so basically every game i try to install takes forever to install, also moving multiple small files take forever, one large file does not have any issue though.

Now what i want to know is, how can i install fresh Windows 8 and carry every game/program's registry/settings.. it will take forever to reinstall everything, so i just want to install new windows so i can reinstall drivers, while these games carry forward to the new system, any help?

 

if you ever want to uninstall nvidia drivers in safe mode then follow the link in my sig below.

once youve uninstalled the nvidia driver you wont be able to see your graphics card so this is why it disappeared.
to see it again you have to load another driver.

 

Yes i know, but drivers were unable to detect my GPU after that because other drivers got messed up.

However this HDD issue is unable to be solved so i have to do fresh installation but i don't want to reinstall all these days and programs losing their settings. any suggestions on how is this possible?
