I recently reinstalled windows 7 because of a registry mistake I made. After reinstalling it, I noticed that over half of my 640 gigs hard drive is taken up, which was about how much was taken up on the old windows 7 install. Is it possible that it is still there? How would I be able to check and get rid of it?

There should be a windows.old file/folder somewhere in the C drive.

Did you format or just re-installed?

I'm not sure, I used the windows restore advanced options task, "Reinstall windows". It required me to use the installation disk. I'll look for that file.
