I bought the Asus Eee PC 1000H with linux OS pre-installed and i would like
to change the OS to Windows XP (Cause i have the Original CD-ROM)
is anyone out there who managed to achieve this? i REALLY strugled trying
to find a clue on the net but every single answer was either "use an external
hard drive" or "Usb stick/with some executables (.exe)" but the Asus doesnt
have a CD-ROM and the .exe files cannot be executed from Linux i have a
Desktop running Windows Vista 32-bit (Ultimate) plzhelp

Use an external CD drive, or you could create a bootable USB flash drive, with the XP setup on it.. It's a little tricky if yo uare doing it the first time, but certainly doable..
EDIT: Google can do wonders.. Here..

Do you have access to another computer on a LAN? XP can also be installed over the network....

Get a usb flash drive. They are under $10 now for something that can store the entire XP cd.
