:thumbsup:Hello everyone. I've googled this is issue and can't seem to find an answer. I have folders than contain wav files that will not open becuase the green bar in windows explorer never completely loads. As a result, my cpu usuage sky rockets to nearly 70 or 80 percent. And then have to reboot and be wary not to open the folder. What's worse is I cannot delete the folder either. I am unsure what is causing the problem. Thankyou to anyone who can help :)

Roughly 55mb per file. It is an album of music.

OP have you tried playing the files from another computer (right click the folder and copy to USB )? Also what program are you using to play the files?
I would also scan for virus.

I have, they run well on my friends computer. I am using winamp to play the files. I did scan for a virus and found nothing. I've also tried to delete the files but that doesnt work either. It just says it is deleting but it never nears completion.

I had few times such issue. I think those files are corrupted, when you did initial copy/rip something went wrong.
You could try deleting that folder with Winrar. Before you do so you'll have to end "explorer.exe" process in the Task Manager and delete it (folder) via Winrar (you can browse folders through it). Afterwards run "explorer.exe" from the Task Manager (New Task -> explorer.exe) and everything should be tip top.

While in Windows explorer try to hit Alt key so Menu bar pop-us go to View and change it to List or Details. If you go into a diff. folder or subfolder with sound files you'll have to change this again.
