    My set up is:

    Sapphire 4890 VaporX
Benq V2400 eco (only has hdmi and d-sub)
    Win7

I am connecting the them via hdmi-hdmi but i keep getting black bars around the picture. I have set the resolution on both ati catalyst and display settings to 1920x1080 and have tried all the refresh rates but none of them display the picture as fullscreen.

I have all drivers and software updated!!!
    Please help

** BIOS is not full screen either

Don't know about BIOS, but you can try reviewing the "overscan/underscan" settings in the Catalyst Control Centre.

    cheers ...

The new catayst 9.11 doesn't have the overscan/underscan. I think 9.6 was the last to have it. I tried installing that version but had no luck (uninstalled 9.11 and install 9.6)

You might have to cleanly uninstall the previous catalyst first. This is always tricky.

What about settings within your TV, using the auto-scan instead of the 16:9 span?

    cheers ...

Using it with the benq v2400 eco monitor 24". It doesn't let me change the aspect ratio so i assume its on auto-scan

9.11 does have lcd overdrive in desktop and displays menu, click the black triangle on the display you want and then select configuer, then select lcd overdrive.

I dont know if this works with hdmi as i have not tried it yet.
