Now this sounds like good news, means I'm less likely to use Adblock, less likely to break the internet! See the following article:

Will make browsing Toms Hardware more bearable!

I always set plugins to on demand only so that mess doesn't bother me. That way I can right click on content that I want to have play and everything else leaves me alone.

I don't use adblocker since the annoying flash is gone. -

Ah, the good thing about the Chrome update though is that it just blocks the flash playing of ads, so normal content isn't affected, I guess with your workaround you have to manually run stuff that would otherwise just be a normal automatic part of the website. Will be good to get this update in Chrome anyway. -
I prefer to manually run stuff, it means no code gets executed without my approval. It literally takes 2 seconds to activate whatever I need to use. Wish it worked for HTML5 though.Robbo99999 likes this.

I just alike always use my PC hosts edit and that more or less kills any popup/ads without interfering with my internet usage.

Adblock plus has been doing this for years.

That's wishful thinking....I had far better success with using the PC hosts edit without having to do any configuration to make it work for IE, FF, Chrome. -
Eh, what's "wishful"? I never see flash ads with Adblock Plus in Chrome. Period. No configuration, no editing hosts either, that is so 80's.
Not sure why you mentioned IE, FF etc. That wasn't in the scope of this thread, which was solely about Chrome futures.... -

Well sounds like this scope is so narrow that it merits to be addressed to show what I do doesn't require adblock and that it works for other Browser without having to install 3rd party software to do something that one can get for free and do more quickly and learn more about their Browsing habits.
Future Chrome updates will pause Intrusive Flash Player Ads
