Hello all:
I have a very perplexing problem. I installed the open source publishing program, Scribus (Version 1.3.3.14), along with Ghostscript (Version 9.01), and GIMP (Version 2.6.11).
Scribus opens alright, however, every time I try to edit the size of the photos I get a message that says, "The program GIMP is missing". I know GIMP is installed correctly because it works fine by itself. I have no problem at all manipulating the pictures.
I have Windows 7. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling three different times and still the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you![]()

What order did you install the programs?
I seem to remember that Scribus has an External Tools config option to tell it where to find The Gimp (and Ghostscript) -
Second attempt I installed Ghostscript, Scribus, then GIMP.
Third try I did GIMP, then Ghostscript, and finally Scribus.
I just looked at the Scribus file and didn't see any external tools config option. -
try this man page
.:Scribus:. GPL Desktop Publishing and More
