On Vista, when not playing a game, my 8600 would downclock itself to 170/100 and keep a temperature between 72~80. But on W7, it's always at 475/400 with a temperature of 83. That I put it into powersaver/balanced/high performance doesn't change a thing. Even on battery it stays at 475/400.

    Anyone having similar experiences?
