    GS43VR-6RE windows 7 install

    Can anyone help me with the rufus set up? Ive followed the NBR clean windows 7 installation guide, but when it attempts to boot from the USB, i get the "an error has occurred with the boot configuration"

    i know this laptop supports windows 7, but i cant for some reason get the installation to run. An help? Ive googled everything but it's all threads many years old.

    Thanks steberg. I got everything working perfectly but I am having trouble getting dragon center to work. always says "has stopped working" error. ive tried everythng but no avail. I have all the drivers installed from msi website. its the only program not working. did you get it work no problem?

    Yes, I had the same problem and I solved it by installing the Visual C++ Runtime Installer (All-In-One) v54
    Credits to @Phoenix for finding this software, you can find more useful stuff in his software updates thread

    so i installed the runtime installer, and then installed dragon center but its still crash. any ideas?

    Since your system doesn't official support Windows 7 this is will end little in return for you.
