    Gadgets always on top

    Had a problem pop up overnight. All of my desktop gadgets now are always on top. The "Always On Top" bar is not checked on any of them and when I click on it, nothing happens. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I uninstalled and reinstalled and that seems to have worked for only some of them. The clock and weather gadget still come to the forefront and now I've lost the one gadget that shows the current date and can't find it anywhere. Anyone know where I can get it again? Any suggestions?

    Look at my signature line below and click on the link about my notes on upgrading to Win7. I had trouble with the gadgets and there are some notes in that thread on what I had to do.

    Thanks I'll read through it when I get home. I did do a "clean" install I think. I had the windows.old folder which I deleted afterwards, but all of my programs and drivers I had to reinstall afterwards.
