So i've reported this before, but the problem is just getting to me now.

Everytime I load up any game (just games nothing else does this) it loads into the games start menu, where you have access to options, key bindings etc just fine. However, if i choose to start a game and it goes into a loading screen the game will minimize itself and i have to click it on the taskbar and it will go full screen again. I'm not sure why this is happening, could it be a driver issue? I'm not completely sure. I don't have any virus's or spyware, because i've run every imaginable checking software I could think of, and all i get is cookies which is normal.

So, I've googled for a solution, but nothing out there really works, or people are just as clueless as me. I have an idea for a solution, but I need some software that I'm not sure exists. I need something to give me a run down of operations being launched and code being run so for example I could see if when I load a game another program or process tries to launch itself as well causing the game to minimize. Again I don't know if this exists, but if someone could point me in a good direction I'd be absolutely grateful.

    Thank you.

Running vista 64x, atm I am not running any anti virus software so I can rule that out as a conflict.

It may be your firewall requiring you to allow the program access to the internet.

Its pop-up might cause you to go back to desktop.

I can only guess at this stage that it might be related to UAC and/or processes right. I game on my Vista Home Premium 64Bits and have yet to experience what you describe above.

    cheers ...

Are you using windows live messenger??

I don't know why it always minimizes my full-screen games/programs.

I have to close it every time this problem occurs.

    p.s. I'm using 64bit vista as well

Nope no messenger. I really wish there was a program telling what is being executed so I can see what might be the problem.

Alternatively you can use a 3rd party process viewer. This will tell you just as detailed as what is being executed at any times.

    cheers ...

What is your OS? Mind telling me your notebook's specs?

Honestly, I have experienced a similar problem before when I play NBA LIVE and DOTA. I was really annoyed everytime the games I am playing suddenly minimise. I read some info about it and only led me to concluding that the source of the recurring problem was the games' installation or the games' softwares. But apparently, there were some unresolved or malfunctioning system files, system error, or a registry problem which I found out when I sought the assitance of an IT friend. He told and referred me to download a unique error cleaner and a registry cleaner which are license-free.

The unique free error repairer and cleaner are IOBit System Care and IOBit Security 360 that both fix browser crashes, errors, registry, antimalware, antispyware, anti-adware, anti-Trojan, anti-bots, and other related system malfunctions which may also be obtain through downloads of file transfers. IOBit does not create conflict with any anti-virus, it is actually the best mate you can pair up with your anti-virus.

Furthermore, IOBit offers a nice user-interface similar to NIS 2008 Internet Security. I say it's better. But having the two gives you the best of both worlds. Try checking these sites for detailed info:
    http://www.iobit.com/, http://www.techspot.com/downloads/35...urity-360.html

Another error cleaner is PC-Sleek which you can find here.

Aside from the above registry and error cleaners, you can also try CC Cleaner and MISPBO Registry cleaner which you can find here and here.

Compared to other ordinary registry cleaners, MISPBO has a registry defrag that is a recommended action to do after you clean-up your registry. The registry defrag requires you to boot-up and display the increased speed of your notebook in percentage ratio after the registry frag.

Try giving this try. It did solve mine; hope yours too :)
