    ok i am looking at the e1505 from dell and was wondering what the best pc games are and will the 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™Go 7300 TurboCache offered with it be able to handle games with resonably high settings...also what is turbochache and is that good... thanks

    Well, you may get more replies in the gaming section.... but

    I don't believe the 7300 is very high end right now. It should play most games on Medium settings, but if you're looking for higher settings I would look elsewhere. That's just a shot, I haven't actually tested it.

    Turbocache is when your dedicated graphics card borrows a certain amount of system RAM and allocates it to video purposes. This is in addition to your already present on-board graphics RAM. Say you have a 128mb card with "hypermemory" or "turbocache". If that's the case your card may be able to use a total of 256mb of RAM for video purposes.

    you can play games like UT 2004 quite well, BF vietnam as well, not many newer games, as a general rule the 7400 can play every game but the newest ones are at low, the 7300 cant play a lot of the newst games at an acceptable frame rate, but older games will run perfectly fine on it

    I don't think it has the power to handle today games, you'll do better with a x1400 and if I don't remeber worng it's even cheaper.

    what graphics card would i need to run current and maybe future games on high setttings... is there a chart or something that i can look at or something that can help me understand graphics cards...
