There is no gaming benchmarks as of now of Windows 7. But probably it will be made better obviously than it previous product Vista.

In the coming days we will be getting all the required drivers support from the hardware companies for Windows 7.

If it works on Windows Vista, it will work on Windows 7.

be warned that most pb games will not work on the 64bit version of win7, however for some odd reason all pb games work 100% on the 32bit version, dont ask why, it just does. I have tested with both versions 32v64.

There's a simple fix that involves editing the PnkBstrA and B services. I tested it on x64 build 7000, and it worked.

And I'm sure Windows 7 in all its variations will be fully supported by Punkbuster once it's released.

Ive tried turning off firewall, setting compatibility mode, set 'allow services to interact with desktop' in services ... nothing just nothing ...

    Mastershroom! Help me !
Ive been searching all over to fix my BF2 pb issues, currently getting the Windows Unknown API [131131] issue. Ive setup pbsetup and pbsvc all correctly and working, also made sure everything is setup for vista capability and run as admin. But also in services only PnkBStrA.exe is only shown after and before running BF2. What do I do? Im on x64 RC build with xfastest 187.50 drivers.

PS - other than gaming seems as good or 2-3x better than in xp pro..

Actually, setting PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB to allow interaction with the desktop is the fix I was referring to. Worked for me in Call of Duty 4...before, I would get kicked out of literally every game within a minute of joining. I made that edit a month ago, and I haven't been booted since.
In the Services window, open the Properties of PnkBstrA and PnkBstrB, and set them both to "allow interaction with desktop".

No guarantees, but it's worked for me so far. Also, I haven't tried it with Battlefield 2 either.

Yes, as long as it's consistent with 32 or 64 bit. E.g. use Vista 32-bit drivers if you're on Windows 7 32-bit, and vice versa.
