So i was looking around for newest drivers for my I9300 GF9800 card, after googling and searching this forums i found some new drivers on LaptopVideo2Go. I installed the latest with the modded .inf file for Dell laptops.

I started Battlefield 2 and i could see visible black artifacts in the game, i got rid of the drivers and installed the Dell original ones.

Then i found this website http://www.TweaksRUs.com which had Version: 81.95-v2.24 tweaked for Quality. I must say that after installing these new drivers BF2 is looking MUCH MUCH better and smoother. The image is much clear and crisp with all the settings at high(minus AA) @ some 1100x860 resolution.(im too lazy to go get the actual resolution  )

so if you are looking to update your GF6800 drivers , TweaksRUs is the place to go. Forget about performance, its all about quality

How many FPS do you get on all settings on high?

That's odd that you would get errors and artifacts - did they somehow change the clocks? Or, another possibility is that the Power-saving features were disabled - sometimes that results in artifacts for me.

    Thanks for the link :)

im getting an average of 40fps

i must say with the drivers installed from Dell support site , the game runs OK at medium at 1024x768(the 1100x860 resolution is not even available with this drivers) but with the tweaked one i set everything to high , and play at the max resolution available and i get a BOOST in fps even tho im increasing the quality.

the difference is very very noticable , both in quality and fps

so, does the quality setting overclock the card or just change advance options
